Description
Honduras Expreso Paraiseño
Honduras Expreso Paraiseño is a fully washed coffee grown in the highlands of El Paraíso, where rich soils and a delicate climate create ideal conditions for quality-focused production. Sourced from Finca Expreso Paraiseño, this coffee reflects a careful balance of tradition, intention, and forward-looking stewardship.
The farm is owned by Gerardo Peñalva and operated by producer Javier Padilla, whose commitment to quality begins at the varietal level. Pacas, Parainema, and Pacamara were selected for their suitability to the region and cultivated using sustainable practices designed to protect soil health and support long-term productivity. Coffee is intercropped with other plants to nourish the land naturally, reinforcing the farm’s connection to its surrounding environment.
Harvested cherries are handpicked and transported to a nearby wet mill, where they undergo meticulous sorting, pulping, and fermentation before being dried to precise moisture levels using a combination of solar, vertical, and horizontal dryers. The result is a coffee shaped by patience, care, and a deep respect for process: from the hills of La Lodoza to your brewing ritual at home.
This coffee is roasted to order and available in 12oz and 1lb whole bean bags.
